The OTC Child Enrichment Center exists so that parents may continue
their education while having affordable, quality child care
available to them. The center is open to students and faculty
of Okefenokee Technical College and to students of Waycross
College and Ware County High School. Priority is given to
children of students; however, the center is open to the
general public.
The OTC Child Enrichment Center is responsible for the “whole
child.” Children, like adults, learn through experiences.
The staff at OTC Child Enrichment Center believes in establishing
an environment through play. Children are provided opportunities
to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically
through play. Children are encouraged to develop the desire
to learn and continue learning by actively engaging in
interactions
with materials, peers, and adults. No two children are alike.
Each child is special and has his or her own path of growth.
Enrollment
The OTC Child Enrichment Center is open from 7 a.m. –
6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parents wishing to enroll their
children should come by the Center to tour the facility and
to complete a registration packet for each child.
