Dr. Gail Thaxton (L to R), President of Okefenokee Technical College, and Larry Paulk, chair of the Okefenokee Technical College Foundation Board, welcomed new trustee Phil Martin to the OTC Foundation Board at the winter quarter meeting.

Mr. Martin will be representing Clinch County where he is Assistant Superintendent of the Clinch County School System. Mr. Martin has been with the Clinch County schools for 37 years.

Active in the community, he is currently chair of the Board of Trustees and treasurer of the Homerville United Methodist Church. Martin also serves as secretary of the Clinch County Lions Club and is a past president of that organization.
