Larry Godair Joins OTC Staff As Director of Instruction  

Larry Godair has joined the Okefenokee Technical College staff as Director of Instruction – Evening Division. He comes to OTC from East Central Technical College in Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Mr. Godair is currently working on his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at the University of Georgia. He received his M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and his B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University.

Prior to his employment with OTC, he worked as coordinator and lead instructor of the Delphi Skills Center at East Central Technical College. He also worked in the Business & Industry Division at East Central and taught business classes: accounting, financial management, management and supervisory development, marketing, and computer applications.Larry Godair

Mr. Godair worked for twelve years with Fleetwood Enterprises as an Assistant Production Manager with the motor homes division in Decatur, Indiana and later as Production Manager in the manufactured housing division’s plants in Florida and Georgia.

Larry is a Douglas resident and enjoys running.  He has completed twelve marathons, including New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, in twelve U.S. states, as well as many half-marathons, 15K, 10K, and 5K races in twenty-seven different states.

His wife, Frannie, is a fourth-grade teacher at Nichols Elementary School, and they have two sons. One is a policeman and lives in Chicago, Illinois. The other one works as a fireman and lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
