Wes “Ben” Bennett IV was recently named as a member of the Okefenokee Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees. Bennett is owner of Bennett Insurance Agency in Blackshear and has over eight years of experience in this business.

The OTC Foundation Trustees serve as advisors in the advancement of the college, planning and implementing resource development activities. Through an annual drive and other initiatives, the Foundation focuses on raising funds for scholarships, equipment, state-of-the-art facilities, capital projects, and other programs and projects that help students be successful.

Bennett toured the Okefenokee Technical College campus recently with OTC President Gail Thaxton. “We are extremely pleased to have Mr. Bennett join the Foundation Board,” commented Thaxton.
