OTC Foundation Golf Tournament Winners Announced

The Okefenokee Technical College Foundation “Tee It Up For Tools” Toolbox Picture 1Scholarship Golf Tournament was held November 7 at the Okefenokee Country Club.  The foundation trustees appreciate the tremendous support from the community for the event. With 43 sponsors/teams and 88 players, the tournament was a large success.  A priority of the OTC Foundation is to provide scholarships for students attending the college. With this type of generous support from the community, the foundation can continue to help students attain skills needed for the workforce.

Proceeds from the event will fund 2009 “toolbox scholarships,” which help deserving students get the financial assistance they need for tuition, program supplies, and other “tools” required for their program. Picture 2
