Press Release: Okefenokee Technical College

According to the latest report from the Ware County Joint Information Center (JIC), tropical storm conditions are not expected in Ware County as a result of Tropical Storm Fay. The threat of tornadoes is remote, but does exist for our area as Fay moves inland.

Okefenokee Technical College will be open and will continue with normal operations. However, OTC students, staff and community should exercise good judgment and common sense, especially regarding travel to and from campus and work.

Students who have extenuating circumstances should contact their instructors at their earliest convenience, and employees who have extenuating circumstances should contact their supervisor.
