Cathy Daniels Receives Degree

Cathy Daniels, adult education instructor for Okefenokee Technical College, recently earned a masters of education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix. Cathy Daniels

Daniels also holds a B.A. in psychology from Syracuse University.

Prior to teaching adult education classes at OTC, Daniels worked as a PEACH case worker with the Department of Family and Children Services in Waycross and with the Ware County Board of Education as a special education teacher.

Her other work experience includes marketing and sales throughout the Central New York State area, first as an independent agent and then for Memorex/Telex.

Daniels’ energy and enthusiasm for education and people, along with her contributions to technical education, recently landed her the esteemed Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Education for Okefenokee Technical College. The faculty and staff at OTC congratulate Daniels on her degree and her other educational accomplishments.

Mrs. Daniels is married to Jerry L. Daniels of Waycross. They have one daughter and one grandson. The Daniels’ family attends the Covenant Church in Douglas.
