OTC Adult Ed Instructors Complete Computer Class

Okefenokee Technical College’s Adult Education instructors, along with several staff members, completed OTC’s 15-month Computer Application Specialist certificate on June 12, 2007.

According to the instructor, Marcia Braddock, the entire group excelled and all of them improved their Microsoft Office skills 100%. Pete Mills (far left), Director of Adult Literacy, and Dr. Neil Aspinwall (far right), OTC Vice President of Economic Development, congratulated the group on their accomplishment.

Students receiving the Computer Application Specialist certificate must complete the following classes: SCT 100 - Introduction to Microcomputers, BUS 105 – Database Fundamentals, BUS 205 – Spreadsheet Fundamentals, CIS 127 – Word Processing and Desktop Publishing Techniques (2 quarters).participants

The next Computer Application Specialist certificate program will begin July 10, 2007. Contact Marcia Braddock at 285-6474 for more information.
