About the instructor:
My name is Jack Moye, and I've been in the HVAC industry for over twenty two
years. I have experience in residential and commercial heating, air
conditioning, and refrigeration. I hold a Georgia state license as a Conditioned
Air Contractor - Class II Unrestricted. I am also EPA 608 certified for
refrigerant recovery and handling.
About the program:
The Air Conditioning Technology program at Okefenokee Technical College is a
sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the air conditioning
industry. The program emphasizes a combination of air conditioning theory and
practical application necessary for successful employment in entry level
positions. Graduates receive an Air Conditioning Technology diploma and have the
qualifications of an air conditioning technician.
Employment opportunities:
Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration is required in every part of our
world. Therefore, individuals who possess the necessary skill and a good work
ethic will always be in demand regardless of where you may live. If you would
