and stuff you want. The campus bookstore is located
in the 300 building on the main campus. The bookstore provides
textbooks and other course-related material, OTC apparel,
and book bags. Other supply items as paper, pencils, calculators,
and notebooks are also available. Our Alma Campus has a bookstore
with textbooks for the Alma classes.
Bookstore Purchasing Procedure
Books are sold to students who are registered to take courses
scheduled at OTC. Books will be sold during the week of registration
and throughout the first week of each quarter. To purchase
books through the OTC bookstore:
- The student must be registered for class(es).
- Student must bring confirmed class schedule to bookstore.
- Payment must be made at the time of purchase unless financial
aid is available for books. To defer book fees, the student
must be approved for financial aid. No cash will be refunded
to students purchasing books through financial aid arrangements.
Checks will be disbursed by the end of each quarter from
the business office at OTC.
- The student will sign the invoice showing acceptance
of books purchased.
Note: Students are required to attend classes to qualify
to have books purchased through financial aid arrangements.
Students receiving books with financial aid before class begins
will be liable for said books should they have a change in
financial aid.
Bookstore Refund Policy
- Textbooks purchased for a quarter or special session are
eligible for refund if returned within 7 consecutive calendar
days from the date of purchases provided the following conditions
are met.
- Textbooks and merchandise must be unmarked, unsoiled,
undamaged, and in resalable condition.
- The original OTC Bookstore sales receipt MUST be
presented for a refund or exchange.
- Personal identification is required for all refunds.
- Not eligible for refund:
- Textbook purchased after the refund period is over.
- Textbook covered with shrink-wrap material which
has been removed.
- No refund shall be made for expendable supplies and
equipment (i.e. cosmetology kits, diskettes, tools,
etc.)
- Defective Merchandise – Defective merchandise purchased
from the OTC Bookstore will be replaced without charge subject
to the following conditions:
- Textbooks must be returned for placement during the
quarter of use.
- General merchandise (non-texts) must be returned
within 7 days of the purchase.
- The original OTC Bookstore sales receipt MUST be
presented for a refund or exchange.
Refunds, when due, shall be made without requiring a request
from the student.
Refunds, when due, shall be made within 30 days (1) of the
last day of attendance if written notification of withdrawal
has been provided to the college by the student, or (2) from
the date the college terminates the student or determines
withdrawal by the student.
All refunds shall be made within sixty (60) days of the student’s
last day of attendance.
Bookstore Telephone Purchases
Book purchases may be made by calling the bookstore manager.
You must provide the course name, number and ISBN for the
book that you wish to purchase. Payment may be made by credit
card. Due to shipment expense, a $10 shipping charge will
be charged for all books that are purchased by phone.

Please note that the bookstore is open until76 p.m. on Monday
& Tuesday to accommodate OTC’s growing number of
evening students.
Bookstore Hours will be adjusted the first week of each
quarter to accommodate all students.
The first week of the
term, the bookstore
is open Tuesday through Thursday until 7pm nightly but closed
on Friday of that week.
