Program Description
The purpose of the Property Maintenance Technology TCC is
to provide education to individuals that will enable them
to obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to
succeed in building repair and maintenance.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with the student’s ability
to schedule classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.

OTC Placement Exam
Age
16 years of age or older
Education
High School Diploma or GED required before graduation
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
$13,400 to $15,400 annually
Job Market
Opportunities exist in rental apartment complex and rental
house maintenance as well as handy-man business.
Personal Traits Required
Important attributes for a property maintenance technician
are good eyesight, manual dexterity, hand eye coordination,
critical thinking skills, problem solving, and the ability
to apply technology to the work environment.
