The Technical & Industrial Technology Department at Okefenokee Technical College offers training programs that are designed to prepare individuals for employment and careers in the areas of construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, agriculture, maintenance, repair, design, or engineering. These training programs combine classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and practicum experience to assure that students obtain the most current skills required by their chosen profession.

Entrance Requirements:
16 years of age

18 years of age (Technical Studies, AAS, Electrical Lineman Apprentice, Locomotive Electrical Systems)

21 years of age (Commercial Truck Driving – See program for more details)

High school diploma or GED except

High school diploma or GED NOT REQUIRED for Air Conditioning Repair Specialist, Air Conditioning Technician Assistant, Landscape Specialist, Welding TCCs, and Commercial Truck Driving.

Entrance Dates:
