Program Description
The Electrical Lineworker Apprentice program will prepare individuals for entry level employment as apprentice electrical lineworker candidates with utility companies. The program provides an opportunity to study and practice the basic skills of electrical lineworkers and technicians
Program Length
A minimum of 16 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student should expect to complete requirements in 1 quarter.
Salary Range
$13-$18 an hour

Opportunities are available with electrical utility companies and contractors, cable companies, and communication companies.
Career Traits/Requirements
Must be physically able to lift heavy weights, work outside, in adverse weather at times. Have good eyesight, be able to work with hand and power tools. Operate large equipment and tractors. Must be able to work well with others.
