Program Description
The purpose of the Carpentry Framing TCC is to provide educational
opportunities and technical training for individuals to enable
them to obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed
in the construction industry.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with the student’s ability
to schedule classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.

OTC Placement Exam
Age
16 years of age or older
Education
High School Diploma or GED required before graduation
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
$13,400 to $18,000 annually
Job Market
Opportunities exist with construction companies, residential
builders, and mobile home industry.
Personal Traits Required
Important attributes for a carpenter framer are good eyesight,
manual dexterity, hand eye coordination, critical thinking
skills, problem solving, and the ability to apply technology
to the work environment.
