Program Description
The primary purpose of the Infant/Toddler Childcare Specialist
TCC is to provide a solid foundation of knowledge, skills,
attitudes, and techniques that will improve the quality of
care for Georgia’s infants and toddlers. Competencies
are aligned with the Child Development Associate (CDA) standards
from the Council for Professional Recognition. Overall, the
program objective is to prepare individuals to effective care
for children from birth to three years of age in a variety
of care settings.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with the student’s ability
to schedule classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.

OTC Placement Exam
Age
18 years of age or older
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
$9,888 – $ 12,480 annually
