Program Description
The Early Childhood Care and Education programs are sequences
of courses designed to prepare students for careers in child
care and related fields. Students receive training in child
development, guidance, and other aspects of child care that
prepare them to be quality early childhood educators. Students
complete 480 hours of internship training in an educational
setting. Students also have access to an on-site child care
center. Program graduates have the qualification of early
childhood care and education paraprofessional or early childhood
program management director.

Six quarters
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.

Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Additional Requirements
Criminal Records Check, Immunization record, Hepatitis B vaccine,
and TC Skin Test are required prior to lab or internship experience.

Salary Range $9,888 to $12,480 annually
