Program Description
The Criminal Justice Technology associate degree program is
a sequence of courses that prepares students for Criminal
Justice professions. The program emphasizes a combination
of criminal justice theory and practical application necessary
for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Criminal
Justice Technology associate degree. Entry-level persons will
be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the corrections,
security, investigative, and police administration fields.

Students are accepted quarterly.

Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
Salary Range $23,000 to $35,000 annually
Job Market
Numerous opportunities exist locally in public sector criminal
justice agencies such as police and sheriffs’ departments.
State criminal justice employment opportunities are available
at correctional facilities as well as privately operated probation
services for adults and juveniles.
Please note that some criminal justice positions may require
a four-year degree.

Criminal justice professionals must hold themselves to the
highest standards of professional ethics and as such, criminal
justice agencies seek individuals with traits such as honesty,
trustworthiness, loyalty, and a devotion to duty and honor.
