Program Description
This TCC is designed to provide students with an understanding
of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer
information processing. Graduates who receive the CCNP TCC
will be qualified for employment in positions requiring specialized
and in-depth training with advanced networking hardware.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with the student’s ability
to schedule classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.
Entrance Requirements
OTC Placement Exam
Successful completion of the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA
curriculum or obtained Cisco CCNA certification.
Age
16 years of age or older
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
Salary Range $25,000 to $60,000 annually
Job Market
Graduates are eligible for employment in the areas of PC repair,
network support, network manager, network administrator, and
software specialist.
Personal Traits Required
A person pursuing a CISCO CNNP Specialist certificate should
show initiative, be willing to continue education as technology
advances, be interested in computer application software,
be organized, have the ability to multi-task, display a professional
appearance, possess a strong work ethic, and have a desire
to work in the office environment.
