Program Description
The purpose of this certificate of credit is to teach students
the skills needed to design, build, and maintain small to
medium size networks (LANS and WANS). Program completers will
be prepared to enter the workforce and/or further their education
and training in the computer-networking field. In addition,
students will be prepared for the Cisco Certified Network
Associate (CCNA) certification exam.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with student’s ability to schedule
classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.

Education
High School Diploma or GED
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any course.
A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
Salary Range $18,000 to $55,000 annually
Job Market
Graduates are eligible for employment in the areas of PC repair,
network support, network manager, network administrator, and
software specialist.
Personal Traits Required
A person pursuing a CISCO CCNA Specialist certificate should
show initiative, be willing to continue education as technology
advances, be interested in computer application software,
be organized, have the ability to multi-task, display a professional
appearance, possess a strong work ethic, and have a desire
to work in the office environment.
