Program Description
The Computer Support Specialist program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing. Program graduates are qualified for employment as computer support specialists.
Program Length
A minimum of 90 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to complete requirements in 5-6 quarters
Salary Range
$20,000 to $25,000 average
Career Opportunities
Graduates are eligible for employment for the areas of help desk, PC repair technician, software specialist, and technical support specialist.

A person pursuing a Computer Support Specialist diploma should show initiative, be willing to continue education as technology advances, be interested in computer application software, be organized, have the ability to multi-task, display a professional appearance, possess a strong work ethic, and have a desire to work in the office environment.
