Program Description
Computer Support Specialist associate degree program is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing. Program graduates are to be competent in the general areas of humanities or fine arts, social or behavioral sciences, and natural sciences or mathematics, as well as in the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, program design and development, and computer networking. Program graduates are qualified for employment as computer support specialists.
Program Length
A minimum of 110 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to complete requirements in 6 quarters
Salary Range
$20,000 to $25,000
Career Opportunities
Graduates are eligible for employment for the areas of help desk, PC repair technician, software specialist, and technical support specialist.
