Program Description
The Advanced Entrepreneurship Technical Certificate of
Credit is designed to provide students, interested in
starting
their own business, with the knowledge, skills, and resources
needed to successfully compete in the world economy in
the 21st century.
Length of Program
Length of program varies with the student’s ability
to schedule classes.
Entrance Date
Students are accepted quarterly.
Entrance Requirements
OTC placement exam
Age
16 years of age or older
Education
High School diploma or GED
Advisor
An advisor should be consulted prior to enrolling in any
course. A program advisor will be assigned by admissions.
Salary Range
Starting salaries can be $25,000 to $50,000.
Job Market
The job market for entrepreneurs is very good. Examples of
jobs that are available are small business owners, sales,
and marketing.
Personal Traits Required
People who are most likely to enjoy this profession are people
who have a strong drive and determination, enjoy being
in control, enjoy variety and change and thrive on taking
