Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Students must notify instructors if they expect to be absent. Each instructor will establish requirements regarding tardiness and attendance. Instructors will keep records of each student’s class absences and tardiness.
Make-up work will be left to the discretion of each instructor. An alternative instructional schedule to make up work for students in customized courses may be utilized at the discretion of the instructor with appropriate administrative approval. Rules will be given to each student the first scheduled class day of each term concerning arrangements for make-up work. It then becomes the student’s responsibility to contact the instructor regarding make-up work. There will be no excused absences in regard to academic assignments. All make-up work must be made completed.
