Georgia Author Peggy Mercer Keynote Speaker at OTC Adult Ed Graduation
Peggy Mercer, a resident of Coffee County and a renowned author and teacher, was the featured speaker at the OTC Adult Education graduation ceremony held April 24, 2008, in Waycross. 

 
Anna Champion Shares Healthy Living Tips with Adult Ed Class
Okefenokee Technical College’s Adult Education Program enjoys hosting guest speakers every Wednesday. Anna Champion (front, center) was the program’s most recent speaker. Champion will receive her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology this month. She is a personal trainer and an exercise instructor at Energy Fitness in Waycross.
 
  Victoria Conaway and Simmons Manufacturing Co. Officials Join OTC Staff in Atlanta for MAW Luncheon
The development authorities of Bacon, Brantley, and Clinch, along with the Okefenokee Area Development Authority (OADA) and Okefenokee Technical College hosted a luncheon at the Railway Express Depot on April 24, 2008, to honor local manufacturers who provide jobs and contribute greatly to our economy.
